This year, Seekers Create has engaged with the North Portsmouth community in a vibrant artistic project for We Shine Portsmouth – Foxes Forest & The Garden of Light. Through a series of workshops, they are co-creating neon teepees with local groups, which will be featured in the festival’s Garden of Light. So far, 69 participants from groups like Harbour Schools and St. Michael’s Choir in Paulsgrove have contributed their time and creativity, turning each teepee into a unique piece that reflects their stories. These glowing structures embody the creativity and dedication of the community, weaving together a beautiful display that celebrates the power of collective art.

With more workshops lined up, Seekers Create will continue partnering with groups such as Send Butterflies, Motiv8, Victory Primary, Beacon View Primary, and Community Kettle CIC. In these collaborative sessions, participants bring their own stories to light, making each teepee a personal, creative addition to the festival.

Foxes Forest & The Garden of Light will be an immersive, nature-inspired experience inviting adventurers of all ages to explore. Guided by a friendly fox and his woodland companions, visitors will journey through 12 unique gardens created by the various community groups. Each teepee is watched over by a “Seed Guardian” who embodies a virtue such as hope, joy, wisdom, or dreams.

Don’t miss this chance to experience the magic of Foxes Forest & The Garden of Light and to be a part of a growing legacy of light, art, and imagination.
